Cobbling up a Plane

Huang Jianjun, a cobbler of Hunan province in Chinahas build an aircraft. The amaizing thing is, this amateur techie hasn't studied engineering. Huang has only basic school education. He is 34. He started working after finishing his basic schooling at the age of 19, reports China News Network. Huang completed his maiden flight in june 2010. He gave up cobbler's job to work on his dream and spent nearly Rs 7,00,000 and 6 years collecting and assembling parts to build his own flying machine. The maverick "engineer" spent his life's spending on project ignoring protests from his family. The machine flew Huang up to a height of 500 meters before flying back to earth.
So what next ? Huang thinks before finding a job he should continue improving the design and flying his plane. He is quite happy, but his family is worried about the income that the aircraft will drain off.
